Well, we did it. Opening night of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast was a great success–thanks to 42 fantastic actors-singers-dancers and over 45 behind-the-scenes folks that made it all come true. Nearly 90 people pulled off a great show!
It was the largest opening night audience ever–and what a great audience they were! Ticket sales are brisk and moving steadily every day. There are plenty of great seats available–and they’re all great seats because they are all reserved. If folks get on the internet right away–not only will they be able to reserve great seats (favorite seats) but they’ll save $1 per ticket to boot. One can still get great seats at the gate, but with the popularity of this show, chances are much better to reserve them early.
Adults are age 12 and up. Children are usually ages 3 to 11. Any child who takes a seat must have a ticket. Those, under 3, who sit on a lap and do not take up a seat are not required to have a ticket.
The 2015 summer production of the Outlaw Trail Theater will be Disney’s Beauty and the Beast! Be Our Guest! Broadway Under the Stars comes to you in our 29th season. The Academy Award-winning film comes to life in this romantic and beloved take on the classic fairytale.
It’s official! The 2015 summer production of the Outlaw Trail Theater will be Disney’s Beauty and the Beast! We are very excited to welcome back Taunia Wheeler at the Director/Choreographer for this great show!
Now we can get going! It has been a long, tense wait–but here we go. All of the audition information is on the website at OutlawTrailTheater.com–so, let’s get to it!
The announcement of the Outlaw Trail Theater’s show for summer 2015 is going to be delayed. We plan to announce it tonight at the performance of BYU’s International Folk Dance Ensemble at the Vernal Middle School, 7:30 PM.
Everything is lining up to make the announcement at that time.
The good news is that the instant that the approval comes through–we’ll hit Facebook and the web with everything we’ve got to let everyone know. The other good thing is that auditions won’t happen until the end of April so a few days won’t make much of a difference.
We know that there are a lot of you that are anxious to find out–and we’re just as anxious to tell everyone! So–wish us luck, keep calm and hopefully it will happen very soon.
Thanks, everybody, for your support. We can’t wait to see you at Western Park!
Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday… that’s it! The Outlaw Trail Theater production of Les Misérables is going wonderfully! If you haven’t been to see it yet… there is still time, and there are still plenty of seats available. Rave reviews have been coming in about how fantastic the production is… and how wonderful the cast is. Don’t let this opportunity slip by… get online and get your tickets right now… either right here from this website, or go to http://lesmisvernal.brownpapertickets.com. If you buy online in advance (before 6 pm on the night of the show) or stop by the Uintah County Heritage Museum at 155 East Main in Vernal (again, before 6 pm) you will save $1 per ticket. Otherwise, you can get them right at the box office before the show. Outlaw Trail Amphitheater, 302 E 200 S, Vernal, UT 8 PM Call 888-240-2080 with questions. See you there!
As we’re getting down to the wire now, we’ll probably have daily posts.
Where else could you see a production of LES MISÉRABLES like this one? We have a cast of 67 fabulous singers, a staff of nearly 30 that helps put the show on every night… or helped get it on stage. We have fresh air, green grass, open skies and a wonderful play. LES MISÉRABLES has become the most popular play in the world… and you can see it right here in rural, Vernal, Utah. And a ticket for this show costs about 1/3 of what the gasoline would cost you to drive to SLC, one way.
The crowds have been good and very, very responsive and appreciative, but don’t let your chance to see it slip away. It will run tonight(Monday), Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday this week… and then it’s gone. There is NO show on Friday, July 4th. Tickets are very easy to get online, either through this website (OutlawTrailTheater.com) or go to http://lesmisvernal.brownpapertickets.com . If you really need to get your hands on a physical ticket, you can visit the Uintah County Heritage Museum in Vernal at 155 East Main Street, and they will help you get a ticket, especially if you’re not comfortable using the internet. As always, you can walk up to the box office in the amphitheater at Western Park and buy your tickets right there.
Right now, go get tickets, mark your calendar, set an alarm and make your plans to get to Western Park and see LES MISÉRABLES… before you miss it. You will be very, very glad you did!
