March 19, 2013
Broadway Dance Classes will start this Saturday March 23rd 5:00 at the Powerhouse we will continue on Saturdays @ 5:00 unless something comes up and we reschedule. This is a come when you can class that you can pay for by the class $10. You get a discount for coming to every class for a month. $30 for 4 classes (a month). I hope the prices are doable. If they just aren't, but you would really like the opportunity these classes will provide, come talk to me or Ron. The purpose of these classes are for you to learn and practice steps and styles, not to practice choreography - that we will do at rehearsals. But! rehearsals will be so much easier if you already know the steps. We will start with 30's style swing known as the Lindy Hop, we will also learn foxtrot and waltz. So, yes, GUYS this class is for you too! We will also learn basic tap and jazz techniques (perfecting those jazz hands! =) See you Saturday!

Now is the time!
4 January 2013
Now is the time to make your decision... do you want to go on vacation or do you want to be in the play? Every year we have dozens of people who come to auditions but "I'm going to be gone for a week" here, or "we're leaving on this date and won't be back until that date". Sometimes we hear "Johnny really wants to be in the play but would have to miss one week of shows, will that be okay?" Now is the time to decide. The "play" needs you for about 9 weeks... you can leave town on weekends during rehearsals, except for Saturday, June 22nd, or any time you want after July 7th. Please make a committment, either to the theater or to your vacation. We want you to have a great summer and we want to have a great play... 11 performances & 7 weeks of rehearsal... Mon-Fri 7-10 PM. Commit to us and you'll work hard and have a blast... or commit to your vacation and have a blast! You decide!
